Mugworks The Mug Maker

Grimsby Town Football Club have used the "Two Tone" mug for their design. A Two Tone mug is similar to the "Worcester" style but has a coloured handle and rim which can be obtained in Red, Blue, Green or Yellow. The mugs carry a 50p supplement to the normal prices listed in the Price Guide.

Grasshoppers Junior Football Club from Lydd in Kent used a yellow sleeve as background for their badge. Subject to quotation, a full all over printed sleeve may attract a supplement of between 10p and 20p per mug.

Royal Worcester Porcelain is sadly just a memory - but this thriving and interesting museum is well worth a visit. It is of course the Grand daddy of Whitbourne Mugworks as the processes we use today are little removed from the process of mug making invented in 1757 on the site by Robert Hancock who made the first ever transfer printed mug. And in case you are wondering - we still do individually hand craft the mugs we supply.
